Two bottles of Mahi Chardonnay from Marlborough. Not only is Mahi a Restaurant Month favourite but you may also remember them from Winetopia this year. Their slightly creamy Chardonnay pairs beautifully with Tarahiki (or any other white fish) as seen in SOUL Bar & Bistro’s Restaurant Month special menu - definitely a good addition to your lockdown wine cabinet.
Our next two bottles come from Puglia, Italy with the N Zero Negromano. If you’re looking to whip up a prosciutto pizza, this spicy wild berry glass of goodness might be the one for you.
The last two bottles of wine in this box are the Muddy Water Deliverance Pinot Noir from Waipara, North Canterbury. This has a dark cherry/plum flavour and is best matched with cold meats such as ham or salami. This screams to us “cheese platter time”.
