Pencarrow Sauvignon Blanc 2020
A soft, rounded Sauvignon Blanc with lush fruit. Don’t be fooled by it’s pale lemon colour (almost clear in its youth). On the nose, there’s an explosion of tropical fruits and tart berries; nectarine, passionfruit, gooseberries, tomato leaf and freshly cut herbs. On the palate, its pristine and uncomplicated in style. Best enjoyed in its youth.
About Pencarrow
Pencarrow is a second label by Palliser – wines which are made in the same meticulous fashion as their Estate range. Pencarrow Wines are named after the Pencarrow Lighthouse – who’s keeper, Mary Jane Bennett, stepped into the role after her husband passed away. For ten years, she braved the elements, making sure ships and crew stayed safe along the remote and rugged coastline.
