These wines were destined for Auckland's top restaurants, until lockdown hit the pause button on the annual Restaurant Month in the Heart of the City and now we can deliver them to you!
Start off in style with the gorgeous Champagne Laurent-Perrier ‘La Cuvee’ from Tours Sur Marne, France. If you have something to celebrate, such as getting out of your pyjamas after a week, or a special dinner with your loved one then we think this will go down a treat.
Next is the Dog Point Section 94 from Marlborough. At the “Logan Brown Reunion” event at the Hilton Auckland for Restaurant Month, we had the amazing chefs Des Harris and Shaun Clouston serve up a dish of Stracciatella cheese with pear, black truffle and honey alongside this wine.
Finally, we have another Dog Point wine - their Marlborough Chardonnay. Des and Shaun again made another sensational dish with this wine, the iconic paua ravioli from Logan Brown in Wellington, with crisp kumara. We hope this gives you some inspiration of dishes to pair with these great wines.
