Our ‘Everyday Luxury Box’ is what you need to spice up your week. These wines were destined for Auckland's top restaurants, until lockdown hit the pause button on the annual Restaurant Month in the Heart of the City and now we can deliver them to you!

 Two bottles of the lovely Man O’War Estate Chardonnay from Waiheke Island, who you might have recognised as a feature at Winetopia in previous years. This rich Chardonnay has aromas of lemon and green apple but also subtle notes of toasted almond which is why it paired so perfectly with the melt-in-your-mouth Glacier 51 toothfish from the Chef’s Table event at MASU.

We also have two bottles of the Margrain Rivers Edge Pinot Noir from Martinborough which has gained the Master of Wine Bob Campbell’s stamp of approval. As stated by the winemaker it “has a generous mouthfeel and the silky-smooth texture of fluffy rabbit hair combined with a zig-zagging tenacity which see-saws across the tongue and needles away like a 2 fingered typist”.

 Finally, we have two bottles of Redmetal Merlot / Cabernet Franc from Hawke’s Bay, who again is a past Winetopia feature. In this wine, Cabernet Franc has been used to lift the Merlot which has added to its rich colour and fruity, floral aromas. They say it can be cellared for 4-6 years but we think you will want to pair it alongside a succulent lamb steak to impress your friends over Zoom!
