Enticing complex aromas of dried wild herbs, lavender, red rose, warm gravel, plums and a hint of leather. A round, silky attack leads into the flavour loaded palate where layers of berry fruits, plum spice and dried herb dance and mingle. The texture and concentration is maintained through the palate and fine tannins give structure and length. Enjoy now or cellar through 2025. An amazing wine which is great value for money. Vegan Friendly
This is a Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon blend.
The spring of the 2017/2018 growing season was frost free and early summer was warm and relatively dry. January and February were very hot. Early March brought a significant rain event to Hawkes Bay. Our red varieties were not challenged by this weather and went on to ripen to full maturity in excellent health and were harvested in mid April.
